Corydalis Chocolate Stars
Grown for its year-round foliage interest and pretty flowers in spring, Corydalis temuifolia Chocolate Stars is a small, evergreen, clump-forming perennial with a mounded habit. The leaves are divided into scalloped leaflets; they change colour through the seasons, bronzed pale green in spring, olive-green in summer and shades of reddish-brown in autumn and winter. In spring, lilac-pink, tubular flowers appear above the foliage. Corydalis Chocolate Stars will tolerate full sun if the soil is reliably moist.
