Hosta Blue Mouse Ears
A miniature hosta or plantain lily, Hosta Blue Mouse Ears is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial, ideal for a small, partially-shaded garden. A low, dense of overlapping, quite smooth, veined, blue-green leaves, gives interest from spring to autumn, and, as they are quite thick, are less attractive to slugs. In June and July, well-proportioned spires of lilac, bell-shaped flowers appear. A good plant for edging a shady border. Hosta Blue Mouse Ears holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
