Mentha spicata var. Crispa Moroccon
A hardy perennial variety of mint. A very fragrant strain with a clear spearmint flavour. Grown in Morocco for mint tea. Use for mint sauce or jelly or for flavouring vegetables like potatoes and peas, Moroccan mint can also be used in fruit salads and for garnishing desserts. Mint can spread indefinitely so be careful where you plant it. The purple flowers are very attractive to bees.
