Well-known for its fantastic spring foliage and flowers. In Spring, Pieris japonica ralto has light red-pink young leaves that mature to a dark variegated green. In May and June, bunches of scarlet red, bell-like flowers on large branched clusters cover this reliable shrub. Good option for large pots.
