Black Ridge Oak
An unusual tree in Europe, also commonly known as Ubame oak. Native to a small area of Japan, it’s evergreen with tough glossy leaves, and as oaks go, quite a small tree. Suitable for many locations, potentially useful as a privacy hedge. In its native lands it is mainly coppiced for use as Binchotan, a rare and valuable type of charcoal.
